Absences

Our official school hours at Netley Abbey Infant School are 8.50am-3.10pm for Year R which equates to 32hrs 30mins per week and 8.50am-3.15pm for Years 1 & 2, which equates to 32hrs 55mins per week. Classroom doors open from 8.40am to ensure all pupils have adequate time to prepare and be ready to start the school day promptly at 8.50am. 

Absence 

If your child is absent, please: 

• Contact us as soon as possible but by 9.20am by emailing [email protected] or calling the school office on 02380 452263
• If a child is absent, parents must contact us on the first day of absence, and each day thereafter unless agreed with the school.  If a child is absent and we haven't had any contact from the parent/carer we will investigate the reason for the absence.
