Welcome to Netley Abbey Infant School which is situated in the Itchen Valley area of Hampshire close to Southampton Water, the Hamble river and Royal Victoria Country Park. 

We are a welcoming three-form entry infant school for Years R, 1 and 2. Our building and staff create a warm environment which allows our children to be nurtured through the first three years of their school life. We have high expectations of behaviours and attitudes to learning. As a Federation, we work together with the Junior School and share the same values and ethos which means our children experience a fantastic seven year school journey with us. 

Infant School sets the foundations for a child's education and is a crucial stepping stone in any child's life. Our children come first in every decision we make and the entire team work hard to ensure each child has a memorable, exciting and stimulating learning experience during their time with us. We understand that every child is unique and take a holistic view of their education ensuring that their personal, social and emotional skills are supported strongly in order for them to thrive academically.

Open communication between ourselves and parents, together with the surrounding Nursery schools and Junior school helps to aid smooth transitions for our children through their time with us.
