Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Accessibility
Children and adults are catered for through our inclusive curriculum, however health needs are met through our medical policy:

For further information regarding the details of any of our policies above, please contact Mrs Sandy Atwal, Federation SENDCO.
Accessibility Arrangements
At Netley Abbey Infant School we aim to be inclusive and provide a safe environment for all.
Our building is accessible because:
- it is a single storey building with no steps inside
- there is a designated accessible parking bay within the staff car park, close to the entrance to the school
- ramped or level access is provided to all buildings
- accessible toilet and shower facilities are situated within the school
- a portable induction loop can be accessed if required
- signage is written with clear contrasting colours to make them as visually friendly as possible
Do not hesitate to contact the school office on 02380 452263 if you have any further queries relating to access in and around the school or if you need assistance during a visit. We follow local authority admissions guidance for all children including those with additional needs. Please refer to our admissions page for further information.
Our school considers accessibility as a high priority and as such we have formulated an accessibility plan:
